The fisheries sector contributes to the socio-economic developments of the state. The fisheries sector is one of the major sources of livelihood for the economically backward population. We aim to support economically backward populations and improve the fishery sector by adopting modern sustainable techniques in various fields of fisheries. We generate employment for economically backward, cheap & nutritious food for the society and the foreign exchange for the nation.
